If you alternate between the letter and number keyboards a lot then you can save some keystrokes by keeping the 123 pressed when you select that keyboard and dragging your finger to the chosen number or punctuation mark. Then let it go and you will be returned to the AZ keyboard.

When typing on your iPhone, double tapping the space bar at the end of a sentence automatically enters a period followed by a space.

Ever wondered how to take screen capture of the iPhone or iPod?
Well it is actually pretty simple: press and hold the Home button that is located at the bottom center of the iPhone and is more often used to return to the default screen of your iPhone. While your hold the home button, also press the Sleep / Wake key on top of iPhone and a screenshot of the existing screen will get saved to your iPhone or iPod photos folder. The iPod / iPhone screen will flash momentarily to indicate that a screenshot has been captured.
